How to book an appointment?

Scheduling can happen in multiple ways:

When you subscribe to one of our plans, you will receive an email with instructions on how to book an appointment. You can also log in to your member portal and schedule your appointment there by clicking on “Schedules” in the left menu.

For patients in the Weight Care program, if you’re a first time user, schedule an initial consultation with your health coach first. Schedule your initial consultation with your clinician for after you complete your visit with your health coach. If you’re a returning user, schedule your next health coach and clinical appointment in the portal.

How to cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, you can log in to your member portal and cancel your membership there. You can click on the Cora logo, My Profile.

How do I start my video visit?

You will receive both an email and a text message notification and reminder with a url for you to access the video visit with your health coach or clinician. Search for an email with the subject starting with“New Appointment” in your inbox. If you can’t find it, email us at support@joincorahealth.com and we’ll set the appointment details to you.

I’m having trouble connecting to my video call, what do I do?

Don’t worry! Our health coaches and clinicians have the phone number you provided during the registration process. If you are having issues connecting, our team knows to call your cell phone directly 2-3 minutes after the appointment start time to make sure to get connected with you. 

I haven’t gotten my prescription yet.

Don’t worry! Sometimes they take a bit longer than expected. There are different processing and shipping times depending on the type of medication you’ve been prescribed. 

  • If you were prescribed a compounded GLP-1 medication, it usually takes 3-5 days of processing time and then the medication is shipped overnight in a cold container. Once the prescription was submitted, you should have received a tracking number from UPS. If you don’t have it, email is at support@joincorahealth.com and we’ll find it for you. 

  • If you were prescribed a branded GLP-1 medication, you will be contacted by the pharmacy manufacturer directly with instructions and tracking information. Don’t worry if this is confusing! We’re here for you. If you are having trouble dealing with the manufacturer and tracking your medication, email us at support@joincorahealth.com and we’ll help you through the process to get those medications delivered to your home or retail pharmacy location of choice.

  • If you were prescribed a generic weight loss medication such as XYZ, standard shipping time is 3-5 business days. If it’s been more than 5 business days since the day of your appointment with your clinician, email us at support@joincorahealth.com and we’ll investigate the cause of the delay and work to try to resolve the issue.

  • If you were prescribed medication for our hair care, skin care, sexual health, ETC programs, the standard shipping time is 3-5 business days. If it’s been more than 5 business days since the day of your appointment with your clinician, email us at support@joincorahealth.com and we’ll investigate the cause of the delay and work to try to resolve the issue.

I’m confused about how to take my medications

During your visit with your clinicians, they will give you instructions on how to take the medicine. For certain medications, we will provide detailed instructions via email after your appointment with the clinician. Furthermore, if you’re getting medications from one of our pharmacy partners, you will receive additional dosage instructions when your medication arrives. However, if these instructions are not clear or if you have any questions, please email us at support@joincorahealth.com and we’ll consult our clinical team and provide you with detailed instructions.

I can’t log in. I’m having issues with my password.

About Cora

  • Cora is a Holistic Health Care platform by Latinos for Latinos. We offer affordable, culturally competent solutions that we deliver with empathy and compassion. We understand your unique challenges and we can help you manage them. Cora’s program provides ongoing support from an expert team that includes medical, nutritional, fitness and wellness treatment.

  • Cora is open to everyone between the ages of 18 and 65. Because our priority is to help you achieve your goals in a healthy and sustainable way, we will recommend to you the plan that best suits your unique needs.

    For the plans that can include medication, all medication prescriptions are up to a medical provider’s discretion.

  • Just complete our quiz to pick your plan or appointment. Then you can book your appointment(s) online and attend them from the comfort of your home.

  • No. Cora offers all plans without insurance.

  • No hidden costs. If your plan includes medication, the cost of your medication and the cost of shipping said medication is already included.

    The only exception to this is our Primary or Urgent Care appointments. Those do not include medication in the price of the appointment. If you need medication though, we can prescribe and you can choose to purchase it yourself or to have it shipped for an additional fee. Fees will vary depending on the medication.

  • Yes. Based on your Holistic Health & Lifestyle Assessment, your expert team will determine which medication can best fit your needs and specific circumstances.

  • All medication prescriptions are up to a medical provider’s discretion.

    If you are prescribed medication, you will get the right ones for you based on your overall health status, risk factors and your medical history, among others.

  • The timing of when you will start seeing results can vary depending on various factors, including your individual body composition and adherence to the Cora program. Typically, you will be able to observe noticeable changes within the first few weeks of starting with Cora. Embracing the process, staying engaged with your expert team and being consistent with your treatment is what matters. Then, patience is key! Health changes happen gradually and sustainable results are achieved over time. Un paso a la vez.

About your appointments

  • Once you have completed the quiz and submitted your payment, you will be redirected to your Member Portal. Click on “Schedules” and select the appointment type you want to book.

    If you are having trouble, email support@joincorahealth.com and we will sort it out!

  • You just need a phone or laptop and access to your email.

    Once you book your appointments, you will receive an email confirmation with the subject “New Appointment“. This will include a link in blue. Simply click on that at the time of your appointment and you will get connected with your provider.

  • Yes! And we certainly recommend that.

    Every time you book an appointment, you will be able to see and pick the provider you want to schedule an appointment with. You can also schedule your next appointment while you are on the call with your provider.

  • Depending on your plan, you may need to schedule follow-up appointments. To do so, go to your Member Portal, click on “Schedules” on the left, and select the appointment time you want to schedule.

  • If you are running late, please email support@joincorahealth.com to let us know. If you can make it, but you will be a little late, that’s okay!

  • If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can do so up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

    If you have an emergency and you need to reschedule after that, please email us at support@joincorahealth.com and we will do our best to find you another time.

  • If you must miss an appointment for unforeseeable reasons, please notify us as soon as possible.

    If your plan includes a single appointment, you will be able to reschedule your appointment for only $20. If your plan includes multiple appointments (e.g. Weight Care 6-month plans) we will reschedule one appointment at no extra charge. If you then miss another appointment, you will be able to reschedule it with a $20 fee.

About pricing, refunds and more

  • No. Cora offers all plans without insurance.

  • No hidden costs. The cost of your medication is included in your plan and we will delivered at your home.

  • All of our plans explicitly say whether the medication is included. Except for Urgent and Primary Care, most plans include the cost and shipping of the medication.

  • No. Shipping is included!

  • Yes. You can pick your plan and enroll in each of them individually.

    If there are several plans you are interested in, you can reach out to us at support@joincorahealth.com and we will help make this process as easy as possible for you.

  • Each of our plans are priced very competitively to deliver empathetic care with the highest standard of quality. We are not able to offer discounts on multiple plans.

  • Only if you are enrolled in a Weight Care plan for 6 months, you may cancel your plan and you may be eligible for a refund. Other plans can not be cancelled after booking.

    For Weight Care 6-month plans:

    You can get a full refund if you decide that Cora’s program is not what you expected and you cancel within the first 30 days, before receiving any medication.

    You may also cancel your plan later. Your refund will depend on when you cancel your plan. For example, if you had signed up for 6 months and you cancel before the 6 months are completed, you will only be charged for the months that your plan was active (charged at the month-to-month price) and you will get a refund for the difference between that amount and what you paid in total.

    The specific guidelines for cancellations and some more examples are outlined in our Patient Agreement. If you are unsure of the decision to cancel or would like to know how much your refund would be, email us at support@joincorahealth.com

About Weight Care plans

  • Yes! So glad you asked. If you refer a friend or family member and they sign up for a 6-month Weight Care plan, you will get $50 in credit for Cora. Email support@joincorahealth.com with your recommendation and we will take care of your reward!

  • Yes! If you start on the Nutris+Meds plan, but no longer need or want medication you can switch to the Nutris plan. In that case, you will be refunded the difference. Or if you started on the Nutris plan, but your medical provider recommends medication and you want to take it, you can upgrade to the Nutris+Meds plan.

  • Yes! You can cancel your Cora plan at any point if our program is not what you expected.

    If you cancel within the first 30 days, before receiving any medication, you can get a full refund.

    If you cancel your plan later on, we will refund you for the months that your plan will no longer be active. For example, if you had signed up for 6 months and you cancel before the 6 months are completed, you will only be charged for the months that your plan was active (charged at the month-to-month price) and you will get a refund for the difference between that amount and what you paid in total.

  • You can choose our Nutris plan and have access to a Personal Nutritionist for biweekly appointments and customized nutritional plans. I you had previously signed up for the Nutris+Meds plan, you can get the difference refunded, or you can cancel your membership and get a refund for the months that your membership has not been active.

  • Yes! You can cancel your Cora plan at any point.

    You can get a full refund if you decide that Cora’s plan is not what you expected and you cancel within the first 30 days, before receiving any medication.

    You may also cancel your plan later. Your refund will depend on when you cancel.
